Quoting: redneckdrowFirst thing I thought of when I saw the image on the main page:

"Chevron One Encoded!"

Yeah, I've probably watched too much Stargate when everything round and sci-fi starts looking like the 'Gate.
Looks a lot like the Paragon from Starsector to me.

Kerbal Space Program 1.12 "On Final Approach" is the last major update out now

Quoting: Purple Library GuySolar panels? That's lovely, but . . . up until now through this whole game and all its updates, we've been running a space program with probes and all, without solar panels?!
Solar panels have been in the game for a long, long time.

Quoting: kaimanPersonally, I really wonder though how people can hang Stallman for his words, while nobody so much raises an eyebrow at the way Epstein's case was handled by the legal system. Makes me think priorities aren't what they ought to be these days.
Have you been on the Internet in the past couple months? Because everyone's pretty unhappy about Epstein's murder suicide. Everyone knows it was a coverup is totally a legit suicide.

Sarcasm off now, quit the bullshit. People being pissed about Epstein doesn't mean they can't be pissed about RMS writing apologetics for rapists. People in sexual slavery are incapable of consent. Underage people are legally incapable of consent. Whether the sex slave is being forced to pretend to consent or not doesn't matter, it's still immoral, it's still unethical, it's still a crime.

Unknown Worlds are dumping the Linux version of Natural Selection 2

For example, when it's run in low resolution 1280x720 (my native is 2560x1440) the mouse clicks weren't going through.
From what I remember, this can actually be a fairly common issue. Imagine, if you will, that the game is actually in a 1280x720 box in the top-left of your screen, and not actually full-screen. All the buttons are actually up over there, not down where you think they are. If you understand it like that, you can click on things. It's some kind of coordinate-translation issue or something.

Retro-inspired bloody shooter 'Prodeus' fully funded and coming to Linux

I think they need to decide whether their art is using Quake I or Doom as its basis. They're going for 2.5D by pretending their guns and enemies are sprites, but the environments are clearly 3D and not raycast. I personally think they should pick one or the other, and not do the mix-and-match thing, but that's me.

Well, I already had this from years ago, so no extra sale from me :(

Risk of Rain 2 works very nicely on Linux thanks to Steam Play, it's also pretty crazy

Quoting: XpanderI have been keeping my eye on this game, looks fun, but whats the end goal for this game?. For me it seems fun for like up to 10-15 hours to just go and kill everything with friends, loot and gear up, but what is the progression there? Will the upgrades reset after you die and you start all over again? Is there some background story you can discover during gameplay? I never played the first one as i dont like pixel stuff usually.
From playing the first and seeing some streams of this second. It is rogue-like where you do lose all items and levels on death, however after each run you do unlock characters and have knowledge about what the items are for your next run.
Also, doing certain things unlocks new items. Plus, RoR1 had "Artifacts" that you could collect. Starting a game with an Artifact selected changed the starting rules a bit. They'll be adding Artifacts eventually, from what I've seen.

Quoting: BielFPsSomething that I miss in the current interface is a direct option to see the store page of a game in my library. Sometime I want to check the current price for a game I've already bought or if a new content was released, and I have to go to the store page and search manually.
Click name of game in left pane of library. Look to far right side of right pane of library. Under links, "Store Page".

I've been playing too much Kenshi recently. It's one of those games that could be massively better with a few features added, but that's life.

I love me some Starsector! The addition of colony management adds a dash of Mount & Blade to the mix.
