A very, very long time ago Chris Roberts mentioned that they had internal Linux builds running without any rendering capability. He also said "Yes" to Linux back then.

I like this PIN idea. With some halfway decent production values this might even be a good idea for a little web series. It might expand this site's appeal beyond just Linux, too. People on YouTube see the videos, like them, check out the site, learn there's plenty of games to be had on Linux, and maybe get a little less apprehensive about it.

Or maybe you'll just get that sweet, sweet YouTube ad money there's so much of these days.

Quoting: Cestus<<--- party pooper Anyone know the status of meltdown v1 V2 and spectre? is it fixed to the hardware level with these new CPU?
Meltdown was never a problem with AMD CPUs, only Spectre variants 1 and 2 were a problem with AMD. Spectre v2 is difficult to exploit on Zen, and v1 is "fixed" in software with retpolines. AMD has also pushed out firmware updates. There are no silicon updates yet, but AMD is probably fine.

I looked over the patch notes, there are still a few major annoyances they need to fix in my opinion, but hey, at least they're making good progress!
