Quoting: MungrulYe olde trusty Streets of Rogue.I should give a try in the deck... some years ago i try with a gamepad and don't like it. I was used to play it with mouse and keyboard
I 100%ed the achievements AGES ago, but I've set myself the challenge of going through all of the classes completing their Big Quests, with no mutators to make life easier.
I've been stuck trying to complete a Blahd gangster run for yonks now, but I never tire of the game. The emergent situations still make me giggle, and just this week, despite hundreds of hours of play, I still discovered something new, in that EMP grenades can remove slave helmets.
I was also playing Patch Quest, which is a fantastic little rogue-lite. Don't be put off by the kid-friendly presentation; this is a highly-polished, deceptively deep game.
But even that couldn't keep me away from Streets of Rogue for long.
Not even Sifu can do that, which actually plays really well on the Deck now it's available through Steam.
Of course, I've lost all my skills since last playing it on Epic, but it's still a fantastic game.
Needless to say, I am really looking forward to Streets of Rogue 2.

i want to leave a recent experience that i have in my linux gaming experience. I start to play recently many multiplayer games with a friend of mine, he run windows, i run linux, all multiplayer's games on steam. Some of the games that we play where Borderlands 2 and Terraria. Both games have a linux port that work flawless, but i can´t play with him if we are in different platforms. In the case o Borderlands, because the linux and windows versions are not the same (linux is obviously an old version) and the case of terraria, the versions are the same, but if i want to host a game for multiplayer, he can´t connect to the game. In terraria i ultimately fix the problem running a terraria server in my pc, and both can connect to the server, he in windows, and i in linux. But in borderlands, i had to install the proton version (with work flawlesly).
So, this is a great problem. I can search and fix the problem, but a lot of people, if they can not play a multiplayer game with it's friends, will just blame linux.
I can understand Steam trying to make that all games in linux, can run easy and unattended with proton. This way, the less tech savvy user can use and buy all the games without doubts

Hello, Linux Gamers!! i was playing Borderlands 2 with a friend the last 2 weeks. Pretty funny game, but y jump into a problem. He was on windows and the windows and linux versions of the game on steam are not the same, so we can not play multiplayer. I have to install the window version, run it with Proton, and search for the save folder for the window version, because steam don't sync up this game for some reason. The saves of the windows version where buried in some profound folder of wine, and now i am aware of all the wines versions that steam, playonlinux, lutris install on my system...
