There are more than 3k games with gold status on Protondb, 3000 games you cannot play before without tweaking Wine, others were always unplayable, and you all are whining because a sh!tty Battle Royale game doesnt work, anymore? LOL, cant care less if KIDS are wasting their time playing this cancer called Fortnite, Single player games still have a niche and as I can play those games story or single player modes Im ok with it.
Single players games are strong yet, because since everyone else in playing Fortnite/PUBG some devs doesnt even try to make multiplayer games anymore, they go single player.
Too much whining, that is why some devs prefer to make WIndows games only, yeah Windows gamers are a bunch of whiners too but at least they are a much bigger market than us.

Another reason to stop begging them on Twitter "please bring Epic games Store to Linux". How many stuff like this should happen before we realize they dont care.
Ubi and E.A. at least is straight about this "We dont CARE about Linux" but Epic is pretty hypocrite with their "maybe, in the future, we are working on that" and telling devs that their engine support Linux.
Stick to Valve, yeah some people around here hates Gabe but no one else is caring about our platform.
I insist on this, Valve should release Source 2 now, free and fully compatible with Linux, Mac and Windows. I heard Artifact mobile will use source 2 on smartphones. And also the editor should be fully Linux compatible.
That would be huge if done correctly.

Cool, now you can stop being hype about a store which main resource to compete is using Fortnite money to pay greedy developers for exclusive stuff.
Epic store has everything I hate from console gaming, shady agreements with greedy developers to develop exclusive games or exclusive content for X platform or store, poor control to customers, almost no info about the quality of the port or the game on the store among other things.
If some games or devs will leave, then goodbye, COD BO4 leaves, nobody miss it, EA games leave, nobody miss those horrible new NFS games or those Battlefield games which has been using the same engine and assets for YEARS, remember how awful was the last Sim City with their "always online" and micro-transactions?
Fallout 76 is not on Steam and nobody asked Bethesda to put in on Steam because its awful.
We are going backwards in terms of gaming service, going back to those days when Nintendo ask developers that if they want their game on the NES or SNES they cant develop the game for other consoles. This is all the same EPIC asking devs to develop only for them, not allowing devs to sell their game in other stores.
But Steam haters are laughable, have you ever heard about Valve paying a lot of money OR promising higher
revenues to a third party developers for exclusive content?
Never, still they support these EPIC 4ssh0l3s, you cant reason properly when you hate.

I know people wants to be positive about this, but this is already very fishy. Only time will tell.

Quoting: ShmerlBut they are very explicit about this, its a online "middleware", nothing related to graphics or sound. Now the online coop is promised since 2015 why they took 4 years to realize LINUX/MAC didnt have support for their netcode?Quoting: orochi_kyoJust think for a moment and what kind of "Middleware" affects Linux/MAC development but not PS4/Switch? DRM!!Can be any kind of junk really. So I wouldn't rush to assume it's DRM. Remember when Tex Murphy: Tesla Effect cancelled Linux release because they used some junk Bink that didn't work on Linux?

They already announced delays, cancellations and many other stuff, pretty sure they could announce GOG cancellation and console/windows kids will still be kissing Iga's butt.

It means they agreed to release it DRM-free there.

The only fighting game of my library that isnt working yet is Blazblue Central Fiction, sadly isnt not popular enough so Valve or any other Proton dev cares about it.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive had plenty of updates lately, Danger Zone is looking good

The game is dropping frames after an hour of playing on Danger Zone, I have to restart constantly. The game run smoothly but if I get into a close shooting with another player sometimes it lags badly. The easier to loot ammo was a good change.
I hope they fix it soon.
