Quoting: sn0rlaxPerhaps someone can enlighten me on why Victor Vran is recommended. I bought it and it's the worst performing game I've ever played. Seems like a garbage port. Are you getting good performance from it?
Got 20 to 30 FPS back on Intel Integrated. Now on RX460 stable 60. I cant get higher than that, despite turning vsync off, turning resolution down etc. Story is really great though.

Some initial thoughts on Robocraft, the free to play game about building and fighting vehicles

I used to play it a lot. Now the game is broken, the EAC is broken on some distros (I think non-Debian based ones, but I'm not sure here) and it is not allowing me to play it anymore:'(.

I'm hoping sales of it have been good enough for Feral Interactive to port the new Shadow of War that's due out this year, as it looks amazing.
Pleeease!
Yes, please Feral!
This would be one of the games I'd happily pay full price for if it was a day-1 or even month-1 release.
Mee to, that was one of best games i've ever played. I just hope that requirements won't be too hig.

In short yes. At worst case you will have to manually provide some libraries. I think that installing few updated packages will do the trick. Of course you can be lucky and have it running out-of-box.

Quoting: OLucasZanellaIt's so funny seeing a company say that because they will use Linux for their servers they wanna do a Linux version. If it was the same with all the companies there would be no shortage of games on the OS.
I've actually wondered about that--how is it that there are apparently lots of games that use Linux servers but you can't play them on Linux?
They just don't like OpenGL, especially if engine is made for DirectX. Most game servers don't actually need graphics.

Quoting: redshiftAside from not using the whole power of 64-bit system, what's the problem with 32-bit games?
I don't see why I should support 32-bit releases. For at least ten years now, there is more or less not a single x86 CPU sold that doesn't support 64-bit. There is absolutely no reason to be running a 32-bit system, let alone 32-bit Linux.

The one big problem that @Shmerl mentioned is shitty middleware. But you know what? Don't use shitty middleware today. The Tyranny situation is a big fat joke.
As we focus gaming you are absolutely right. But i know people running 12 years old hardware just cause its still good enough for them.

Can't we get both? Monthly survey(games bought, bundles etc) with user statistics(with quick overview and edit button to ensure being actual data)?

What one game would blow your mind if it came to Linux & SteamOS?
