If they had taken high fidelity renderings of the characters provided by the artist (doesn't need to be photoreal), and showed it running on a 4060 where the low definition character was replaced with the high definition version, then I think that would have been impressive.
Instead we saw exaggerated features, that didn't align with the original character, that required 2 5090s.

This could potentially be an entry point for the equivalent of Nvidia's RTX Remix. Depending on the flexibility of these profiles, if this enables a normal user -without recompiling- to introduce their own shaders, enable/disable available fixes, it could be used to do more than just improve the performance/stability of a particular game.

I do believe they should have age statements, and other additional meta information stored within the file, or data sent to a device.
In the UK, media (DVDs, Blurays, etc) have an age restriction as well as additional details about what content one can expect to see.
This meta packet could be standardised, and the device that has been asked to open a file can check this meta packet to determine if the user's account has the correct permissions to do so.
This means no personal data is being sent to a third-party, a parent can decide to override the default behaviour if they choose.
I really don't like these laws that dictate 'how' something should be implemented, it should be specifying the 'what'.

It's a bit weird. When you buy a beer we have age verification at the point of purchase, we don't have age-verification at the point of opening.
The impression I get is that they are going arse backwards about mandating parental controls.

I think they are going about this all wrong, most folk are use to a certain level of age-verification. You go into a shop to by alcohol, or other age-restricted items and you'll be asked to prove yourself.
It's not new, what is new, is the scope of that age-verification. You go to that local shop, and show a driver's license, it between you and the person behind the counter. You go back later and the same person behind the counter will nod your items straight through.
They remember you had a valid license, but they didn't take a picture of it, or have the details memorised.
The scope of your personal details is limited.
I don't think they've got the scope right.

I really wish the truck driver instead of heading directly into a tornado just to deliver something, stopped and waited for it to dissipate. Pretty sure the recipients want to receive their goods and not have them destroyed 30 minutes later.
