At this rate, the Year of the Linux Desktop will surely come in a few hundred years.

I contribute [External Link] to Godot in my spare time, and I just have to say that one thing they really need is testers and triagers. Godot has thousands of open issues which need testing and reviewing. The more volunteers look at things and investigate issues, the less time it takes each Godot developer to fix each problem, so the more problems they can fix.
So even if you don't know how to program C++, you can help out a lot. Download the alpha build and test for issues. Try compiling [External Link] the latest master to test for issues in it, and compiling pull requests [External Link] to check if they work properly and fix the problem. Then you can upvote the issue or PR on GitHub or add a comment to it to confirm it.
To get started with compiling, here's something you can easily paste in your terminal to get all of Godot's dependencies:
You can also download GitKraken [External Link], an easy to use versatile GUI Git client, to easily download Godot from source.

By the way, Coherent UI is Chromium-based, so if the UI is broken, Google might be to blame.

I would be interested in receiving a key for this game. I'd love to have a game similar to Fortnite that runs on Linux. Perhaps I will get my friends interested in it too, if the game turns out to be good.

I hope Amos gets around to implementing cross-platform dependencies. He has already improved multi-platform support by allowing game archives to specify OS-specific launch paths based on my suggestion.

I doubt the 4k support is for indie games. They probably expect the device to double as a media center machine.
