Valve have released a new dedicated mobile Steam Chat application

Sony did this with the Playstation apps, too. In that case, I had to keep both apps installed, which I found annoying. I think one was dependent on the other...? That doesn't seem right in the mobile app world. I don't remember right now. Anyway, I like to be signed into Steam via the app sometimes so my friends can ping me to get online at the times that I'm willing to play something if a friend gets on but don't want to be online by myself. I wonder where the Steam apps will draw the line. Is chat going to be removed from the main app? Will I even need that one if I don't use it for 2FA?

GOG are revamping GOG Galaxy, to help you manage multiple launchers and still no Linux support

I like the DRM-free, but I find it pretty annoying to be without cloud saves and efficient patch management. It makes it a hard choice which content delivery vendor to buy from.

Cache Grab Studios may not have been the best company name for a crowdfunding campaign.

It would be nice if this game got good, because then I wouldn't have to think about SSB on the Switch I don't have yet.

It's gonna be a rainy weekend, so I know what I'll be doing! I'm gonna take advantage of the free weekend. Buying the First Colony Edition is very tempting.

Ironhide Game Studio's real-time strategy game Iron Marines sees day-1 Linux support

I have the original Kingdom Rush and think it's well done. But, honestly, tower defense just doesn't hold my attention too long. Something about this game looks more appealing than I anticipated. I agree that it looks like Starcraft cute mode. You saying that it's not as hardcore as a game like Starcraft interests me even more because I was never good enough to face humans. When I loved RTS games, it was Red Alert and Age of Empires II, games that would allow you to conquer the enemy with massive amounts of only a couple different types of troops. And you didn't have to micromanage several squads. I know. I'm lame and not a real strategist. (FWIW, I did complete the Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm campaigns.) This cutesy game looks up my alley in my mid-life age.

Yeah... I'll probably buy Sandstorm the first day it releases to Linux. :)

The Swords of Ditto is a much better and more interesting game with Mormo's Curse

It looks way good and fun to me! From you guys' feedback, I'll be sure to buy it from a place that allows easy returns.
