Edit: The developers are getting there, but they still have some work to do. Cars seem to stick to the road a little better, so at least you can properly power slide, but they're still too light and prone to bouncing wildly out of control. They also have an absurdly wide turn radius making it nearly impossible to take tight corners without slowing to a crawl.

Also, when a real car's tire goes off an edge or over a hole, the suspension drops that tire very rapidly! In the trailer posted here, the tire gradually drops down. Not sure if that is to be forgiving because it's a game or what. Compression, rebound, and gravity work much faster IRL.

I feel like we're starting to see the negative impact of Steam's Proton. That is: Larger development studios are no longer building (or porting) Linux releases because they can get Linux buyers "for free" anyway. Linux gamers (myself included) will buy the Windows version and rely on a compatibility tool to play.

I'm not too excited about this project right now, but I can imagine the use-case of keeping unsupported Apple hardware usable. It's not a need of mine now or in the near future, but maybe it will be far off, and then I'll be glad this work was done.

Not arguing your preferences here, but how are the Manjaro updates faster than Arch? I use both systems and I always use the same `sudo pacman -Syu` for each. I think Manjaro has fewer mirrors too. Maybe you mean the frequency of updates? That is completely controlled by the user. Just not sure what would be slower.

EDIT: Oh, I think I understand now that you mean the default packages that come with Manjaro versus vanilla Arch where you have to find them all and install them yourself... so the getting-up-and-running aspect of installing the system, not maintenance like I was thinking.

What? Who is we? You including yourself? How is this a shame? You want Linux to cater only to your preferences? Are you from another planet? Maybe switch to Apple. Their ecosystem is more in line with what you're saying.

For me, the two new ckb-next features that are most exciting:
- Different profiles depending on application focus
- Pattern looping while holding a key
