Well, at least I can put off buying that new graphics card for a little longer...

Being punched in the gut by one of my heroes hurts a little bit more.

The more I see these trailers, the more I realise this game isn't going to run on my potato. It looks lovely, though.

Quoting: kernelkidThis developer has a sequel that was released about five months ago. It's titled Egypt: Old Kingdom and also has Native Linux support, at least on Steam.Apparently that one is better and is coming to GOG next week. I don't know if that includes the Linux version.

I bought this in the early access phase to support the developers with their Linux/blender workflow. I'm looking forward to trying the finished product!

Quoting: LeerdeckI can start Stellaris without Steam and get the start menu, where I can de-/select my already installed mods/dlcs. You cannot install/download the dlc/mods from this menu through.Thanks. Good to know!

(Edit: I suppose I might just be missing a flag or something to point to my dlcs. Does anyone know if that's the case?)

Quoting: CobhamSteam version is DRM free already. If I launch the Steam version of CKII without launching Steam, I don't get access to my DLCs. That isn't drm-free by my measure. Is this game different?

Does anyone know if the game gets added to the Paradox Launcher if you buy on GOG? I love the idea of a drm-free version but, with all the updates, I don't fancy struggling with GOG's archaic patching system.

Quoting: DolusI'm sorry, but what substantial contribution has ESR made to kernel development? The only one I recall was rejected for being technically inept, long before a COC existed. Holding up ESR as a beacon does not help your argument.Quoting: silmethI’d rather have people not fear trying to contribute to Linux.People who have the wrong opinion now have to fear contributing. ESR would be drummed out of kernel development over this COC.
The excellent 2D action RPG 'CrossCode' is now officially out

Thanks Liam. I've just picked this up through the affiliate link on GOG.
Unfortunately the game doesn't seem to be picking up my Steam controller at all (xbox360 emulation through sc-controller). Anyone else having problems?
Edit: I've just retried it and it is working perfectly now. So far it is a fun game!
