I backed this game hoping they will make it, sounds different/interesting enough to me and quite like the art. As in every game backed, or even bought after it's completion, there can be disappointments and let downs but that's just a "risk" as a consumer imo. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they will make it to the goal.

Quoting: ShmerlAnother outside screenshot:This is definitely good news. Can't wait to 2.4/2.5 releases when we might be able to play it almost out of the box :D
Besides certain shaders still missing (which produces transparent parts, wrong hair color and so on), it looks already pretty good, and the whole thing is fluidly playable (at least on lowest settings for me).

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTNothing, you just pay extra. I did never understood why I should be doing so. Claiming that company is dedicaded to Linux is somehow true, but also on Lenovo Thinkpads and Dell Latitudes Linux runs pretty fine as well as the overall hardware quality is much better. Ofc they don't have gaming mashines - I'm talking about business class. That's what I thought then, thanks :)
Quoting: elbuglioneOficial Linux Support. As in issues with hardware? Wouldn't Ubuntu have support too if it was installed on my PC?

Quoting: hardpenguinSpeaking from an ignorant point of view, what are the advantages of getting a System76 Ubuntu dedicated desktop to a desktop choosing the components myself and installing Ubuntu (or any other distro)?Quoting: ArehandoroIs it just me or are they pretty overpriced? The competition (mostly Lenovo) has better prices, but again, System76 is a company dedicated to Ubuntu hardware...
If it wasn't for the cost of shipping to Europe + the custom tax, I would consider getting a laptop from them.

Quoting: JudasIscariotDisabling the event pad worked, thanks for the help :)Quoting: sr_ls_boyJudasIscariot, your guide help me along time ago to get my controller working.Hey, I am glad to hear my guide helped someone, good to know my writing it was not in vain :)
But, to use x360ce, you are going to need the xboxdrv userspace utility and
the uinput kernel module. Boiling steam didn't mention either one of those.
Also wine does have a builtin testing program for controllers. Assuming,
Arehandoro, didn't already know. To use it you'll need to emulate a virtual
desktop environment. A familiar 'start' button will appear on you desktop.
Click on that and then locate your wine control panel. You can test for
connected controllers and test the button layouts.
As for the userspace utility and kernel module, I don't know much about those other than I use the stock kernel in Antergos and x360ce worked out of the box after a couple of winetricks. I guess it depends on the distro one uses in this case.
Also, you can access the Wine controller test utility via the command line by running
wine control.exe

Quoting: JudasIscariotThanks will give it a go :)Quoting: ArehandoroI wish I could use my x360 controller* with this or any other version of wine.I wrote up an Xbox 360 controller support guide for Way of the Samurai 4 here: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=34504 [External Link]
* I know some people have achieved this but can't make it work.
Perhaps some of the tricks I listed here will help for your game(s)?
