I've never played Overwatch, but if it's the same case, I also don't understand it :)

No true next-gen Steam Deck for 'a few years' Valve say

I love the Steam Deck, and even if not totally related to this, my biggest 'meh' right now is that some games that are Steam Deck verified, when played offline, don't unlock achievements when Wi-Fi connection is back. I know is a stupid thing, and overall I don't care that much for achievements, but there are times when I put the effort to get one, so I'd prefer seeing it unlocked :D

By having a 'target' device in PC, it seems we could benefit from better optimization overall, and that's very good for the average gamer (and the planet), so I'm happy Valve waiting 'years' to see a true next gen, companies seeing the potential of the current one, etc.

Now, 'not true next-gen' well means that in a few months they could release a Deck with better battery life, with OLED, or SSD.

Paradox announce Cities: Skylines 2, plus a The Sims-like game and more

I know of a few people that will love City Skylines 2 and Life by You. For me, on the other hand, The Lamplighters League goes straight into my wishlist.

Paradox plan announcements next week, like a new game from Cities Skylines dev

Quoting: PinguinoThat sounds nice and all, but isn't announcing an announcement kind of like scheduling a meeting to schedule a meeting?

Didn't Schafer and team also release a Grim Fandango book about its design and dev process back in the day? It seems they like giving this kind of insight to their games :)

Edit: Not quite the same, it was a puzzle document concept art: https://www.grimfandango.net/downloads/puzzle-document [External Link]

Like a Dragon: Ishin! gets Steam Deck Verified ahead of release

That's a bit of a stretch. It's an idealized view of the gangster, still protrayed as someone that wants to do good in society, albeit through doubtful morals, with little criticising of the society that forces people into this kind of organizations.

But yes, the game is good, and it's definitely very much a love or hate relationship with it.

As much as I like graphic adventures, I was never able to get hooked to any first person puzzler like Myst, Atlantis, etc.
