Star Citizen update, they are considering Vulkan

CR did promise Mantle and Linux support. Supporting Vulkan would cover both of these promises.
As for SC on Linux, I have my doubts we will ever see it, at best super late comparing to windows version. This is based on Linux treatment from CR and staff so far (basically considered as a after thought).

Well it is a far fetched idea, but what if you consider rocks as buildings in the sunset. Penguin running on top of them.
= Mirrors edge Catalyst?

Now that would be a note worthy linux port for me
I'd love that much more than the 2013 Tomb Raider which I finished multiple times on wine already.

Leak: AMD's new driver will apparently offer much better performance on Linux
25 November 2015 at 6:42 pm UTC

This is a weird one, with previous driver 13.9 I think, I had to play Alien Isolation at 1440x900, or it immediately crashed. I started it up with this driver and it was ever worse, like 10 FPS less than before.
I put it up to higher resolution 1920x1200, just for laughs to see it crash again. Now it works with this resolution and even higher FPS than before. So for now I am happy with the new driver, as it brings HQ fun to me

the card is HD7870

GOL Asks: What have you been playing on Linux & SteamOS recently?

I am playing Alien: Isolation and wasteland 2 DC.
Both barely playable on my AMD Linux rig, but both still awesome games.
