Quoting: razing32Uhm , two things :
1. The game start you out at WW2 tanks. Exactly at what tier are they going to be available ? Aka how much grind to play them ?
2. Weren't they working on boats at one point ? Did that get scrapped alltogether ?
In a video by phlydaily they were at 9.0br so it should be tier 6, that means quite a grind, but as long as you focus on only one nation and you don't try to research everything in a tier before going to the next one beside the required ones (usually 6 vehicles) it's tolerable. (ps early tanks in the game are from before WW2). Boats are still coming, I'd say they are almost ready so just a few more months.

Personally I like this game, I do not think it's a great game by any means, but it's also true that the devs are not really experts, and that makes me close an eye on many of the flaws of this game, (It's not like they had tens of millions of budget and hundreds of devs, like the major companies, which can still produce shit, like mass effect andromeda), plus it's not an expensive game (around 20€). I bought it also as a way to encourage them to keep going on, because I think that we should help new/smaller devs, especially when they, at least to me, seem to have the potential to do great things, and also they supported linux from day one, which is always a great thing.

Quoting: kibblesNot into racing games really but downloading it to give it a try. Who knows.
If you want to get the most out of this game (because it has a more realistic simulation than dirt 3 or showdown) you need a steering wheel with force feedback, because it's designed to be played with one (you can play of course without it but it will be much harder to understand what is going on, I'm referring to tire-road physics, weight distribution and so on). Dirt 4, coming out next month I think (although I don't know if it will have linux support), will feature a selectable physics engine, with a simulator one for those who enjoy a realistic car handling and physics, and a simplified one (similar to the one in dirt 3/showdown) for more casual players.

I enjoy a lot GOI, to appreciate it you should be with 2 friends (with voice chat), 1 minimun, 3 for the best experience, if you go alone, then you must make a few friends with other players or you wont enjoy it that much.

Verdun, the WWI FPS has added the Scottish in a free update

I really enjoy verdun, sure it's not an easy game, but I find it very rewarding (especially when picking the trenchclub/feldspaten + 5 grenades loadout (canadians/stosstruppen) at the champagne map and just rushing in the dark jumping on the enemies ;-). To get the most of it you need good cooperation with your squad mates, and to play with them most of the time, or you won't level your squad (higher squad level means better passive abilities, artillery etc.
