Quoting: liamdaweI could hardly turn at the end as I think the steering was damage.
You couldn't turn because you lost your front wing XD

I'm definitely glad we finally have an F1 game on Linux. I'm pretty certain Feral will release some performance patches in the future, the way they did with Tomb Raider :D

Linux & Steam running on the PS4 playing Bastion is impressive

Quoting: wolfyrionA friend of mine called me that he had a logitech PS3 Wheel to give me for Free because he had no use for it.

Well I dont know the real reason why he didnt want to use it anymore , maybe he replaced his ps3 with ps4 and was not working? maybe it was not working in Windows ? or maybe he broke his ps3? :D

Well with my friend we have a small friendly fight Windows Vs Linux every time we meet...
Anyway I invited him to come to my house so we can test the Wheel...

At the start he was teasing me if there are any racing games available for Linux...
I told him that many racing games are available but we can play GRID Autosport since is one of the best racing games available in Linux...

Anyway I pluged in the Wheel ...and launched the game
(He got confused and said , ehh ... arent you going to install any drivers ??? how the heck is going to work???)

With a great surprise everything was working perfectly in the game , even the wheel was vibrating, shaking, etc and without any configuration...

You had to see his face... :woot:

I was surprised as well but now I have a racing wheel which I have to learn with it how to drive because is a bit hard atm ...
Win! :D

Changes to our Survey are coming, hopefully to make it easier and better

Quoting: hardpenguinThat is a step in the right direction, I really like that!

However, I think the survey will have to be also available for people who do not login to GOL, otherwise less people will take it.

I only hope that my answers will not be available publicly on my profile :)
It was stated that it will be available to people who don't have a GOL account and also that the answers will still be anonymous ^_^

Quoting: AnxiousInfusionShout out to the guys that correctly guessed in the other thread. Do they win a foot massage or something?
I think the person who noticed it was playable on Linux during the free weekend wins.

On a related note, there was very little wrong with it then, so hopefully it's not much longer till the real release.
I think there was a link to the SteamDB depot referencing a Linux build for F1 2015 before the leaked free weekend, but I can't find the article at the moment. Either way, Feral have bumped the F1 2015 tease up to "very soon!" on their Feral Radar

Quoting: ajyotirmayI've always been a fan of racing games, and F1 2015 is the last title I played(on Windows) and I loved it. I've always wanted this one title on my Linux machine. It'd be nice of Feral to port it. Although, the removal of news doesn't builds up much confidence... :(

As you can see from SteamDB, F1 2015 Linux is there and has Feral slapped all over it :D

Would be cool to have an indication as to whether a GOL user has filled in the survey for that month. What I mean by this is, if I'm logged into GOL and have filled in the survey for May 2016, there should be an indication of that for me alone so that I know I've previously filled in the survey. I'm terrible at remembering what the last survey that I filled in was.

Feral Interactive are teasing yet another Linux & Mac port on their radar
3 May 2016 at 8:53 pm UTC

Quoting: chrisqI've read that Dirt Rally uses the same engine as Grid Autosport.
Since Feral already ported Grid, Dirt seems possible.

IMO Linux needs at least one more proper racing game like Dirt Rally considering Autosport being the only one right now.
F1 2015 is coming to Linux, which I'm pretty keen for (although I must say I prefer F1 2013 more, even though it's an old title) but I'm aware that the F1 games are very technical racing games which cater for a very niche market and isn't to everyone's taste. Dirt Rally would be a great addition to the Linux racing world.

Looks like The Ship: Remasted, a remake of The Ship: Murder Party is heading to Linux

That's quite a weird "teaser" trailer >.< but the game looks like it could be some fun
