On Arch we had to install libcurl-gnutls

Has anyone had the chance to try COOP yet?
I simply cannot get it to work and it's making me sad :c

It's disgusting. You can even buy yourself all the way to max level without playing the game at all. And a ton of people is doing that. Its just toxic and has nothing to do with enjoyment at all.(unless you enjoy spending tons of real money for stuff that makes you not have to do anything and make the gameplay feel more worthless). Even know you can't win runescape. The game indeed has one of the worst pay 2 win models you can find. It's so sad because it was really a great game before the solomon store and treasure hunter ruined the game..

If you really like the mechanics of the game and don't mind graphics i can't recommend Oldschool Rs enough. Its the last bit og remaining common sense we will probaly ever see from jagex.
I'll agree that they have pushed the TH too far, however I do not agree that it's "one of the worst pay 2 win models". You'll have to pay a lot... A LOT... to "buy yourself all the way to max level". At the same time it doesn't feel like the game is slowed down to force you to pay extra.

Quoting: Guest. Speaking of which, we should probably get a bunch of people from here who want to try it out and do some things together.
That could be really cool! A GoL clan would be neat but I believe we'd need 5 interested players :)

It's not really that hard to get working! Just one tiny script and you are good to go :)
(Script [External Link] OR 3rd party game launcher [External Link]

However, it's going to be great with better graphics and possibly vulkan support in the future (the developers said something about this in one of the blog posts).

Also, to those of you who are interested:
The game is rather fun! Very well made quests and a lot of detail in general.
I also very much recommend creating a hardcore character at some point. It's very fun and scary :)

Comical indie fighting game 'Iron Snout' released for Linux on Steam - It's free!

Quoting: chuzzle44I've been playing this myself. It could use a little polish, but it really is excellent. The gameplay is hilarious, grabbing dropped weapons and even severed heads is amazing. The controls are limited to four buttons that work very well on my Steam Controller's touchpad.
And now I want a steam controller...

Shadwen, the new stealth game from Frozenbyte has a playable Linux demo

Quoting: PlintslchoSo far I haven't managed to finish the level even once.
And yeah, the controls are driving me crazy as well. Definitely don't want to press down Ctrl or SHIFT all the time just to keep the game going.

I think I'll pass. The game looks good. But the controls are simply not my cup of tea.

Great move by Frozenbyte giving away a demo of the game though!
Just turn on time toggle in the keybind menu :)

Dying Light's online modes get bigger with The Following, hopefully they actually fix it for Linux

Quoting: XeekeiI also discovered the hard way today, that you can't switch between Windows and Linux and expect your save files to work. Though that was the base game, but I doubt The Following fixes this.
Wow, really? No excuse for that, save files should use a common format for a single game.
I also discovered this issue, but I guess I was lucky. I just ended up with max 'talent points' even though I only had an hour or so in that game.

Open Game Benchmarks, a brand new benchmarking website for Linux games

I believe having Early Access games there would be good.
It does, however, seem like the early access game "Distance" already is available on opengamebenchmarks...
