Is the game related in any way to the previous ones? Or is it an entirely new story, totally unconnected (not even acknowledging the previous games happened)

Does Heroic allow to download and install DLCs from GOG? I know it does from Epic...

Any chance of adding an option to install mods from a game or libre game engines sometime in the future?

Quoting: Grogan
Quoting: KlaasThe main issue is that the game assets are highly unoptimized so without mods the game runs worse than Skyrim.
I've only had "0.49" from git (late to the party here) which probably isn't much different than 0.48 at this time, but I can't say I notice any performance problems. My hardware doesn't break a sweat for this. (amdgpu/RX 570/mesa 23.2'ish) and it doesn't feel like I'm running into any cpu/gpu underutilizing behaviour.
Well since 0.48 has been in RC phase for quite a few months, quite some PRs have been merged with the 0.49 tag. The milestone is at 84% in their gitlab [External Link] so there might be some nice new features in there.

And maybe we can get 0.49 with a shorter time lapse than that between 0.47 and 0.48 :)

Thanks, I haven't purchased yet. I'm getting everything compiled first, then we'll see about getting the game data. I didn't know what packer they use for the GoG archives.
Innoextract should do, they probably have a tutorial on how to do it. I have a set of scripts for compiling and extracting into a directory a set of games with foss engines, sadly i haven't added support for Morrowind yet...

Never played this game, I feel like it might be too open-ended for my taste.

So glad to see Yakuza in there, those are the games I was thinking of playing if I ever get my hands on one!

For those who haven't tested it, Yakuza 0 is one of the best games of the last decade, for sure

Tim Sweeney's comments came about at a time when he was battling apple for the right to distribute software in places other than the App Store. I don't think he cares about linux tbh.
