I believe it when I see it. Hopefully it's an in house port and not Feral's.

Quoting: HoriIs this game something like OpenArena / Quake ?It is not quite as fast as Quake. Think Black Ops multiplayer with classes thrown in.
I've got it in my wishlist and the Summer Sales are approaching... and I see that people in this community are quite excited about this game so I feel like I have to have it too. :D
Quoting: razing32Hmm , if the summer sale is coming I might just buy it.Works perfectly
Does cross platform multiplayer work ?

All very welcome improvements. I'm specially looking forward to the queue join system and being able to join a game while spectating it. When I start playing, most of the times, servers close to me are either empty or full so I have to spectate them first to see who leaves, and when somebody leaves, I have to quit the server, try to join in as a regular player which wastes a lot of time.
I also like to see new maps and new skins for both soldiers and guns. Hope they do something about the declining player base too. Maybe make it for free for a week.

Valve have changed how gifting games works

So that's why I had to go through hell to gift a game to my cousin last night.
I created an steam account for him, Then tried to gift him the game but he was not my friend on steam. And I could not add him as a friend cause you cannot have friends on steam unless you spend $5 or more on games. I was not able to send him steam funds either!
So I had add $5 to his steam account using my credit card, then add him as my friend, then gift him the game. It should be easier than this.

Mad Max meets Vulkan in a new fully public beta for Linux, benchmarks and OpenGL vs Vulkan comparisons

Quoting: GuestMy benchmarks are waaaaaaaay less impressive, and I have Windows in there as well. Version 1.1 of Mad Max has much lower OpenGL performance, artificially making Vulkan look a lot better. See my post for the numbers:Excellent find. So Feral gimped their openGL port to make their Vulkan port (which is still %40 is slower than DX11) look better.
