I tried the service on my PC with Edge Beta and I'm not impressed for now.
The latency is perceptible and on a game like Forza it's really difficult to control the car.
Not as good as Stadia for now.

Hopefully it's just a mistake from the guy in charge of the publication who forgot the Linux files and it will be fixed promptly.

I remember this game having issues on nvidia hardware because of a memory leak.
I guess there is less issue with AMD.

I can confirm EAC with Starwars Squadron now works perfectly on-line (not many players though).

Nothing has been removed. Ethan's Twitter post is talking about the defaults on the Steam Deck, all of which is likely in flux until release.
