This would be great.
What would be even better is... if this is real (and there must be some form of closed-beta going on...) that the 1st wave of open-beta was Linux only (with those who had close-beta as well). This would help push push linux as those desperate to try would install linux. It would also give an indication of those willing to try linux but availability of games holds them back
Sure if it had lacklust response then push full open earlier but well :)

Also... when is CSGO moving over to source2 (or whatever the engine dota2 uses). There was talk this would be out the summer gone

Well I might just grab it... its on sale and it is showing support for linux.
Plus it gets another random game in my catalogue that my kids can pick (they are getting the hang of switching to steam link from the TV)

I keep meaning to try this as bits of it remind me of cannonFodder but well ... disappointment is always a risk

And this is why I bought SPAZ2 ... its out and it works. Vapourware can be ignored (like homefront)

Well picked it up last night, spent last night playing it.
Very smooth and no issues seen (considering they marked it as beta). The only significant issue is if you have more than 1 monitor.
While there are aspects of SPAZ1 in the game, it is closer to a 4x game as you build up resources etc.
