Not for me...

Update: It works with PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1

Here with Vsync OFF
Same here. Batman Arkham Knight works ootb. No ESYNC tweak. Performances are quite good.

For Just Cause 3, it's another story.. Instead of not starting at all, it gets stuck on a black screen...

Edit: Just Cause 3 starts to a black screen but the intro and input sounds can be heard.

Edit 2: It was a Steamos-compositor issue. Just Cause running like a champ at ultra on Gnome desktop.
Can you report this compositor issue?

A little off topic, I was talking with someone about Proton and how intrusive anti cheats blocks it, and I was thinking about why there's no anti cheat based on AI.

On CSGO I do some "overwatchs" and there's a lot of obvious cheaters, with wallhacks, aim, speed hacks, etc, really easy to catch, so an IA can do the job. Looks like it's really easy to bypass VAC, but I think that it's a lot harder to bypass a AI.

Maybe an IA can detect a toxic player too

This game have a lot of potential, but I'm tired of "procedural generation". There's a lot of good games with this mechanics, but it's saturated nowadays

Fast-paced free shooter TO4: Tactical Operations has arrived on Steam

This is a very niche game, I love the old Tactical Ops, I will try it for the nostalgia, but as you said, CS:GO is free to play with a HUGE player base, it's hard to receive attention.

Off:I would love some UE4 arena shooter...

Just a question, how good is EAC? I know that VAC has a lot of vulnerabilities, and there's cheaters in all valve's games.

It's curious how fast EAC conquested the market, and most of the newer games have it.

It's really "cheater-free"?

I hope that it make success, it looks great, something nice to put near the TV, better than most of "android boxes", and this will encourage more companies to do similar projects.

Some early first impressions of Google Stadia played on Linux

I've read some """ journalist """ saying that it was a flop, but for mostly of the early review from my favourite sources is telling very positive things. I bet that Google will improve it soon, adding more feature and games.

The input lag is really impressive, obviously to competitive is bad, but for casual is nice.

Valve learning with Epic...

CS is still popular, but it really lacks of new features/announcements, only minor changes and balances, which is great, but not THAT great.

Look what epic do with Fortnite, the game always receive attention...
