Daedalus is another space sci-fi adventure game needing help on Kickstarter, but it's a little iffy

There have been too many kickstarter/pre-order related articles lately, imho.

Steam store updated, Valve still haven't fixed filtering to only Linux games on the homepage

Quoting: DrMcCoyMe, I'm annoyed that there still isn't an easy way to remove a game from the wishlist.

I can add it with one click on the store page, but then instead of letting me remove the game from the wishlist by clicking the same button, the button then turns into a link to my whole wishlist (why?!?)
To purposefully make it harder to de-list. The obvious functionality used to exist as you may recall but they removed it.

RE topic: there must be a browser extension to fix most of the steam usability problems like these, surely?

Myself, I won't use the bloody steam client to browse the store for one reason: no tabs. This not the 1990s.

Quoting: KithopThat will give you nice .deb packages in the parent directory you can just dpkg -i :) None of this clobbering system packages with manual ./configure && make && sudo make install ... that way lies pain. Lots and lots of pain.

Game level designers are not the sort of people to get platform news from, Liam.

You need engine devs for that. Or porters. Admittedly, some companies have no idea what they are actually doing. If only there was a way to specify a linux contact person...

Civilization VI for Linux is no longer certain, only a possibility

This is always a risk when games need porting and/or this is not handled in house.

You would think they invested that Linux/OSX money (I am sure the amounts were substantial for something so huge as Civ) into porting their engine, but no..

I blame this on the lack of commitment.

The Steam Hardware Survey for September 2016 shows Linux has grown some more

Steam survey is crap. Even if it weren't such marginal changes are meaningless. I've been arguing to stop reporting on it for a while now.

Quoting: Crystal DaggerOh! It's the first time I've heard of the books to be honest, maybe they were not translated here or I'm not old enough to be aware of their existence (if they were from the 80's), I'll check it out and maybe get one or two (if they are worth getting) even if they are only in English.
