Quoting: liamdaweI still disagree with comments against the Rocket Pass. I'm more of a casual player, but I quite like it. I absolutely prefer it to buying a loot box where you've no idea what you're going to get any time you open one. After 200+ hours played online, I'm happy to continue to support a developer of a good game if/when I feel like it with a pass. Also, you get your keys back if you progress enough through the Rocket Pass. I would have bought the keys anyways. So really it's just more stuff for me, at no extra cost.

I just found out about Zachtronics about a month ago with TIS-100 and it's blowing my mind. Playing this and Shenzen IO once I beat it.

Just spent a few hours playing it, and it's pretty great. It's pretty much what you would hope for from a mashup of monster hunting, turn based metroidvania. I hope they reach the stretch goal for PvP :P

What I'm saying is, I want a Magic: The Gathering style battle royale.

Quoting: KelsIf I were looking for a magical arena shooter, I'd want a lot of variety to the spells, arm and body movements, even if that slows the action slightly. Immersion is important too, and maybe you can have spells that shoot out a bunch of rapid-fire missiles, while others do movement limitation on the enemy and so forth.I've been thinking about fantasy style battle arenas lately, and I was hoping that whenever it was done, they would include some strategy and customization. For instance, what if instead of being able to cast whatever spell as often as possible, you needed to harvest energy from a source, kind of like in Magic: The Gathering. Different spells could be unlocked by winning matches, and the spells you want to use in a match would be selected from before the match begins from a spellbook of every spell you have unlocked. The spells you cast would consume different amounts of energy.
What I'm saying is, I want a Magic: The Gathering style battle royale.

Quoting: RoosterIt's been a couple years since I played Gang Beasts, but this looks a bit more polished.Quoting: buckysrevengeReminds me of Gang Beasts, I'll have to check it out"Reminds" is a very weak word for this, this seems like a carbon copy of Gang Beasts. Same concept, same core gameplay.
And Gang Beasts is already available on Linux, so what's the point?

Quoting: lucinosThis is a great idea. After the uncountable amount of times my friends have asked me to play Overwatch, PUBG, Seige, etc... (and begging me dual boot Windows) I'd like to have just one title to shove in their faces.Quoting: liamdaweI agree :-)Quoting: gustavoyaraujoWhen will they starting developing exclusive titles?Exclusives are just bad, no one wants them. They push platforms, sure, but they lock you into things.
What I would really love to see is an "AAA" title that will be 50€/$ that plays for any OS (win/mac/linux) *OR* only 5 but then you have it _only_ for linux.

If I had the choice of playing this or NMS, it would probably be this. (Of course I've played neither, but still...) Planet Nomads looks pretty sweet.
