What one game would blow your mind if it came to Linux & SteamOS?
1 December 2016 at 6:41 pm UTC

I really wish there were linux ports of two franchises:
1. Dark Souls(I, II or III)
2. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series (even Clear Sky one)

The developers of Armello are facing a bit of a backlash over the DLC not coming to GOG

Or do developers see their game(Armello) as a platform that delivers(?) DLC to their customers.
Because if they do, it's quiet logical for them to try to stop potential "whales" from getting their DLC-fix by not so legitimate ways.
But if it's true does it means that their game will end as a glorified DLC(-pushing) store?

What are you playing this weekend?

ShmerlIs anyone doing regular Witcher 3 tests with the new releases of Wine? I didn't buy the game and there isn't any demo, so I have no idea how far DX11 support has progressed.

Don't buy any DX11 game until there will be an overwhelming proof that it works, because right now DX11 support is early in development.

TealDX11 when?
When it's done? How long it took for DX9 to mature?
Don't get me wrong, I would love to see DX11, especially when all the new Dark Souls games are released with DX11 support, but Wine developers resources are limited and it might take some time. More than I would like.

Valve shoots down Itch stores attempt to get their client on Steam

edoThe point answered by valve also makes sense

It would make sense if Valve put any substantial effort to manage Steam as a platform and not allow literally everyone squeez their turds into it. And there are numerous examples starting with Guise of the Wolf and Slaughtering Grounds.
