Game for me runs great from the start, no crashes whatsoever , odd sound problems, but nothing big. Runs great, fun game , well worth the price.

Quoting: skinnyrafSo if I buy it now on Linux, opt into beta and play on Linux, it will get counted as a Linux purchase? After purchase it's shows in your library straight away. Steam tracks stats on what platform game is being played, and those are available for devs.

Yep, just played. Looks OK for now. Definitely will be interested but don't want to pledge just to find out that they have not reached Linux version goal.

I will check the demo tonight, but sceptical about stretch goals. I'm sure they are using stock engine to do it so barriers will be the extra code. Many projects are build that they got this one 3rd party library which is Windows only and whole Linux port is canned cos nobody will rewrite this to be cross platform.

Is that really that important to get all that ? keep it simple like eg.
Distro, use wine ? dualboot ?
Who really uses non Proprietary drivers for gaming. I know there are games that are not 3D, but c'mon.

Well I'm not a distro hopper but I'm not a fan of Debian based distros. No point arguing here which distro is better but I'm sure there is at least another half of this percentage undocumented on other Linux distributions.
