On line should work cross platform, but it is region locked. I was able to connect to some one who was in the US but not to any one in other countries.

Am I missing something or was this not on the Feral radar? It seems all of the games that were there are still there and this was added. I broke the bad news to my wife last night that Feral was after all of our money. <3

Well at least this is some good news. Man gamingonlinux has been cranking out sad stories about delays and never happenings all day. I'm super excited this is my daughter's favorite game.

Speculation: It's looking like Rocket League may finally arrive on Linux in September

Quoting: liamdaweI can guarantee you it will have cross platform multiplayer :)

Quoting: calexilnow that everyone has moved on and all the major tournaments are done.... good timing
There will obviously be more, lots more considering how popular the game is.
With a guarantee like this I wonder if this article is a little more than speculation.

Quoting: t3gI know you want more support for GNU/Linux, but that doesn't mean you should suffer by playing games like this. No reason to white knight.

It looks like a game I will enjoy. I will note that if it had supported Linux on day one I would have purchased it at full price. Since they did not I will be waiting until it's on a good sale.

Total War: WARHAMMER is still coming to Linux, being ported by Feral Interactive

I am very excited that Feral supports Mesa. AMD GPU and Mesa are going to be the future of AMD on Linux for consumer graphics cards. The AMD GPU PRO driver will be for their FireGl/FirePro cards. I use an Nvidia card right now, but with all of the progress AMD has been making I can't see myself going with Nvidia again. As far as Total War: Warhammer goes, I had no intention of purchasing it before I found out Feral was doing the porting. Now I think I'm going to give it a go. I had some performance issues with Tomb raider(lows in the 30s with a GTX 970), but it did not stop me from playing. Keep up the good work Feral!!

The Talos Principle updated with more Vulkan stability and performance

The performance in the new Beta seems much better than the last one. I was getting about 20 more FPS on the benchmark than before.

Yet it works with Mesa, so what does that say about Catalyst? Catalyst isn't even supported any more by AMD. The last Catalyst release was last year...
If it would just be Catalyst I would agree with you, but with GPUPRO the Feral drama is equal. As it is is really just Feral that has this problem, we really need to question Feral just as well as AMD. Especially because AMD's proprietary drivers are a lot less forgiving with OpenGL standard violations than Nvidia drivers, we should not rule out the error is on Ferals side.

Regarding Mesa: Most development activity is on radeonsi. My HD6670 is serviced by r600g, which sees a lot less development, therefore in my view Catalyst is still the better driver to use.
Feral games supporting mesa is great. AMD has already stated that the AMD GPU and mesa are going to the the consumer lvl driver solution. AMD is working on optimizing mesa, they not only have left FGLRX but also their opengl code.
