I talked to the dev team directly and they did confirm that the alpha will have Linux. That infact internally its working on Ubuntu now. Actually the first game ive ever paid on an alpha on, but before I did I needed confirmation on the OS I use actually being their in the alpha.

Just started playing this game on may 25th. It seems to have had alot of fixes sense it initial launch. Its quite a bit of fun and seems quite stable on Linux

Interesting to note, but have heard from more then one developer that Linux sales are higher then they expected by far of the 1% claims of windows fan boys.

Idea of it being roguelike has some concerns. I loved idea of coop as I have a friend this may be perfect title to play. Anyone know if you can save your progress and continue later?

Only game i've ever pre-ordered. As Harebrained Schemes scheme has had a good track record. The fact that on the remaining stuff needing done they put Linux at the top tells me they want to get it done. I wont download or touch my copy until its on Linux though. Will be writing them as well.

They clearly stated Linux version along with some other promised features is planned post release and they do have a good track record of polishing and adding content to their titles after release. Let's keep the pitchfork in the barn for now (Tiki torches are in short supply anyway currently I am told) and make sure they know we definitely do want their games on Linux instead.

Yep, I am with you on this. I did back the game and they know from when ask what version I wanted it is still marked Linux and I have not played. Anyways I never back games, but HBS has had a good track record so hoping fo r the best =).
