I actually run a very similar hardware setup, BTRE ;) And as you I had a nice performance boost in MadMax. I havent done much with emulators yet. Could you share some tips on how to setup a good emulator environment? To me it seems like there are a lot of programs you have to use together.

The game already has very much to offer in my opinion. But a broader variety will keep things interesting for more people. They are also working on the server side performance which will probably make the big zvz battles a lot more enjoyable.

Quoting: KimyrielleEven if Albion would add PvE content one day, there is still nothing at all I find appealing about it. It's a niche game with eyesore graphics and hardcore MMO concepts from the olden days, which, like dinosaurs, died out for a reason.
Is that why Blizzard is reviving WoW Vanilla? ;)

Of course to attract the masses it helps to ensure everyone regardless of skill-level can succceed. But not everyone likes that. Just like not everyone enjoys the latest dumbed down action movies labeled "Star Trek" which aim to attract the masses.

I really enjoy Albion Online ;)

Quoting: pentarctagonDoes anyone have any idea how to get this working on Mint? I bought it, but it gets stuck after the intro animation with the screen all black except for "1%" in the center of the screen. I've found a couple threads with suggestions, but they all seem to be for non-Ubuntu based distros.
AsciiWolf already mentioned one solution - probably the best one ;-) I actually use a different fix. Here is a thread about what alternatives people figured out: https://forum.albiononline.com/index.php/Thread/54258-Tuto-Linux-Have-a-working-game/?pageNo=6 [External Link]
