in germany there is currently the book 1 to buy for 9,90€ in the "computer Bild Spiele"-Magazine (GoG-Code) with optional Season Pass (Book 2 and 3) for extra 12.59€ !

i already wrote a bug-request for the issue, not shown in game (hard for me, because friends cant find me ingame)
i hoped it will be fixed after that update. :(
i also dont find any servers now, since the update.
edit: after reinstall it works. :D

this is the first game ever i wanted a refund for
there is no splitscreen like said in the description, and the only racing mode for sofa-gaming with friends is the one, where you drop out, if you are out of screen. thats ok, if everybody has the same skilllevel, but for someone new, he (or she) have no chance to learn the game when they fall out after some seconds.
with splitscreen in coop it would be ok, but the also the steering is not very intuitive. it takes a lot of time to get that handled....

are there any good clones? prefered with splitscreen?

meh. i dont need a story. just a new insurgency with tough coop gameplay, maybe orientated on the players behaviour.
in times of call of duty this story-graphics look like from 2007
