Quoting: m0nt3The game is currently not working on opensource AMD drivers, but does work on intel, seems to perhaps be an issue with radeonsi. As it works on my 6950 with r600g.
_If_ it's related to what I think it is, then it's not an issue with radeonsi exactly, so much as an issue with UE4 that happens to impact radeonsi. Which means an update to UE4 is required to get it to run, if the fix is included in the next update the dev uses (if any).
Marek had posted using LD_PRELAOD to load libelf.so, but that did not solve the problem for me, not sure it is related at least to what I am experiencing, but perhaps. I just get an assortment of colors and small shapes, but I get sound and can click through the menus.

Quoting: burningserenityThe world needs more pirate games. I still need to finish the first game though; they really meant the "Eternity" in Pillars of Eternity.
I finished the main story line, but not all sub quest and still havent made it through the white march.

Looks really good, I have been very excited for it, this just raises it up a notch for me. I will likely preorder as I did with tyranny. Hopefully the story and characters are good.

Quoting: Duke Takeshihey liam, just recognized that you've changed you distro back from antergos to ubuntu. A few months back you were quite enthusiastic about antergos and wrote an article about it, may I ask what brought you back to ubuntu? I actually put antergos on my system because of your recommendation and still love it :)
There was an openssl-1.0 update that got pushed that basically broke steam and a bunch of games. Took a few weeks to get fixed if I recall. I switched to Ubuntu Gnome at the time, but am now back on Arch. the 4.10 kernel was holding me back and if I ran a newer kernel on ubuntu, it was stuck with the ondemand cpu govenor and that causes a pretty drastic performance hit in some situations, vs performance.

I think that might have been the best $6.00 I have spent. I had a fun few rounds. I feel like mouse movement could be smoother, maybe something I need to configure.
