Quoting: PieOrCakeI like breasts as much as the next heterosexual guy (or homosexual girl), but why must they be bigger than the character's head?
I think every single organism on earth like breasts. Homosexual girl, homosexual boy, heterosexual girl, heterosexual boy, trans, bi.

I know one of the developers, we played a lot of PUBG together, he is a very cool dude. I didn't know they supported linux, tbh I'm so hooked to PUBG that I haven't tried this game yet, but the BR idea seems awesome, will give it a try.

DayZ is not currently coming to Linux, but the developers are open to it

They said the same thing back in like, 2012 when they announced the standalone version.

It's time to bug Feral Interactive about future port requests once again

Insurgency is the best FPS for linux. Too bad they're cancelling the campaing and they prioritized consoles over Linux....

The new Entroware Hybris could make a reasonable Linux gaming laptop

Quoting: rodvilI'm thinking of getting a new top performance laptop on the 15' size. Any of you tried an Entroware before? I'm thinking of a System76, but it's quite far to ship to Portugal and it only has US keyboard. Since they are all Clevo computers, it should be possible to change the keyboard though.
Any thoughts on these "Linux" brands regarding hardware compatibility?
I got an acer vx5 (i7 7700, 16gb ram, nVidia 1050Ti & 256gb ssd) for 1000 u$d. I run Manjaro on it and couldn't be happier with it. It was great price : power ratio. 10/10. I've recommended it on reddit a few times and others have been quite happy with it. I know this sounds like advertising, but since it's a great product and I'm happy with it I don't mind doing this.

Quoting: soulsourceOne thing to consider: Switchable graphics support is basically broken with the proprietary nVidia driver. One is therefore either required to restart X11 whenever one wants to switch graphics chip between the dedicated and the integrated one, or one has to use the open source drivers.
That's why I'd very much prefer an AMD graphics chip: Good performance with open source drivers, and working switchable graphics support...
What do you mean? It works perfectly for me. I have a laptop with nvidia 1050Ti and run everything on the integrated intel graphic card and games on the nvidia using primus.

Quoting: alien2003The worst first person shooter ever
I don't like the beatles or the rollings stones, but saying they're the worst bands ever would be plain stupid :S:
The rolling stones are great, though. :(
I have no doubt they are. I just don't dig them.

Some thoughts on switching from Ubuntu to Antergos for Linux gaming
19 Jan 2017 at 1:27 pm UTC

Quoting: PirateSkogenCan Antergos dualboot safely with Windows 10 on a UEFI system? I currently dual boot Ubuntu 16.04 with Windows 10 on my main gaming desktop. I would be willing to give Antergos a try, but I need to know that it can install easily and work with a Windows 10 dualboot situation. Ubuntu handles this situation very well but not all distros do.
Yes it can. Out of the box. In my case right after installing Antergos, the menu wasn't on grub, just had to run:
# grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
