What did you do to get it working?
I'm on Arch. Just installed the latest available patch on Steam and launched it. Didn't need to do anything else.

GNOME 3 in 3.22 is pretty clean and useable. Use it daily. It's customizability is decent but for users who prefer a more traditional approach to desktop computing, KDE might be better. Or Cinnamon/Mate.

Xbox 360 controller is by far the best out of box experience. Only game that didn't support it initially was Jotun but the developer got it working after I reported it. Kudos to them.

When steam adds DS4 support, some devs may choose to use it but if you use GOG for gaming extensively, might be better to stick to Xbox 360 controller.

But it's not modern warfare level for them so they don't care.

Funny considering how they use AWS (Xen), Linux and Windows technologies extensively.

Tbh, Bethesda aren't known for being good to the community. Today, I just read that they're going to stop giving out review copies of their games to game reviewers because they aren't happy with the reviews that reviewers who received their games thus far, have been giving them.

Bethesda is like Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Someone can always build ffmpeg with nvenc and put it into a repository. Most don't do that because not everyone has NVIDIA cards.

Funny how heavily some publishers use Linux for their business needs but don't give back.
