Entroware have released another beast of a Laptop, worth looking into
17 Jun 2016 at 4:14 pm UTC

For those of you in the States - such as myself - check out System76. They're based in Colorado, build their machines from the ground up to run Linux - Ubuntu's their distro of choice - and build laptops, desktops, and servers. They're the American equivalent of Entroware, who sadly doesn't deliver to the US, last time I checked. :(

Deep Silver & Techland are not supporting Dead Island Definitive Edition on Linux, at all

If you release a game for a platform, you should be in a position to support that platform. This is the type of customer service that is so poor, it just befuddles me. How can anyone think this kind of behavior is acceptable? 'We took your money, but we won't guarantee our product will work for you. #dealwithit.'

After this article, it's safe to say Deep Silver not only lost any chance of me purchasing these games, but they've also made me weary of buying anything else they release. Nice one, guys.

MAV, a custom mech combat game will come to Linux, looks great

Quoting: liamdaweGraphics don't make a game. Sure it looks a little dated, but the gameplay looks fun.
I actually didn't notice how dated the graphics looked until I was well into the video. This game looks like the perfect remedy to my mech itch. Bland graphics or not, I'm excited to see this come to Linux.

What have you been playing on Linux recently and what do you think about it?

Quoting: Shadowsedge117I also watched the entire Alien franchise for the first time ever - I know, late to the party - and jumped at the chance to purchase Isolation when it went on sale. I've been playing some of that, but as much. Partially because I'm terrified about confronting the Xenomorph.
The important question: What was your favourite Alien film, 1,2 or 3?
Lol Gotta go with 2.

Before I got into Linux, I played through the entire campaign of the new Tomb Raider on Windows. After it got ported to Linux, I installed it on my system just to see how well it was transferred. I've been enjoying it so much that I'm finding myself playing through the entire campaign once more, but this time on my favorite OS. :)
