Not a very impressing HQ, to say the least... :P
I've never played a game like this and I'm curious. How does the driving simulation part work? I expect you don't have to play for hours and hours just to do an international delivery. :O

Anyway, I think I've already watched so many 30 Flights of Loving playthroughs on Youtube that isn't even worth to play it myself. :P
PS: looks like Humble is back in the right direction (albeit not completely since not all games are multiplatform)

Livalink the Unity3D FPS gets a nice upgrade
9 Apr 2013 at 8:20 pm UTC
FYI, the original file was Livalink.x86 ;) (I presume you have a 32bit system, haven't you? In my case they're 2 files: Livalink.x86 and Livalink.x86_64)

Quoting: avarisclariNo problem, I looked at the launcher options to see if I could figure out what was going on, saw that it was looking for Livalink and renamed the file based off that. (Though i seriously can't remember what the extra part was now)Yes, the Desura error mentioned the same missing file but somehow I failed to make the connection... :S:

Quoting: avarisclariIf you rename the file from Livalinkwhatever to Livalink, the desura launcher works again. As easy as that. Thanks! :D

Oh, I thought there was a new release and I rushed to open my Desura client even before reading the article... :S:
Yeah, I upgraded it some days ago but didn't play it for long so I didn't notice much difference. What I DID notice was that this release broke the Desura launcher somehow and now I can only play Livalink if I launch it from the console. :(

It certainly isn't the first KS project I see which offers only one port of a multiplatform game, but I agree that this project's pledge levels and rewards are somewhat strange... Well, at least they confirmed it'll be DRM-free! :P
The Humble Weekly Sale featuring Tripwire

I guess Hamish would be as happy as I'd be if every Linux game were released both with DRM and DRM-free, effectively granting everyone their freedom to choose. But unfortunately this is not the case and the future doesn't bode well in that respect. :(

Quoting: Philip550cYes I do believe that saying no DRM software in linux is limiting my freedom, people do listen to your comments. On the other hand, flocks of Linux users happily embracing Steam's DRM and thus forcing indie developers to get on that platform (often neglecting other ways of digital distribution) are totally harmless to us DRM-free lovers...

Want to play Shovel Knight on your weirdo computer? Many folks have asked for Linux and Mac versions. We hope to support Mac and Linux either way, but this goal makes it happen for sure, and in a more timely fashion (hopefully in 2013!).We are weirdo's apparently, may be a joke but it's not a great way to win our hearts to pay them money now is it?

Humble Troubles Again, more platform specific bundles

Quoting: AnonFurthermore, I might be wrong in this (in which case I apologize), perhaps, but some of the Android games this time also have some intrusive DRM - PVZ requires a constant connection, and I doubt that this version is different from the Google Play version.I wasn't aware of this. If it's true, then I'll certainly hold this bundle in a lower regard than before.
Quoting: AnonAs to the store, well, they already have a 'Humble Store' widget, via which many developers sell games. I think there's a list of those somewhere but I can't remember where it was. You're probably thinking of the Humble Store entry [External Link] at the PCGamingWiki. I regularly check it to see if they have some new titles to offer.
