3 new bundles with Linux titles in them
1 Mar 2013 at 4:41 pm UTC

You're welcome, s_d! Always feels good to make people happy. :)

Quoting: s_dI, personally, can recommend The Journey Down: Chapter One, for any lover of adventure games.  Skygoblin are an absolutely tiny indie company (like four dudes in Sweden).
Me too. I bought it during the big Steam Linux sale and I must say it's a worthy successor of the great adventure classics of the '90s. The only drawback I found is that's so damn short. I wanted more! >< Looks like I'll have to wait for Chapter Two... :P

Quoting: hardpenguinWell, the thing is, Monster Minis Extreme Off-Road only announced its planned (and worked on) Linux support, but no measurable effects so far...
You're right, my apologies. I didn't check it explicitly, I just trusted the bundle's page were this game is announced as supporting Linux. If there's no Linux support as of yet, I assume it must be right around the corner, since last January they announced they were close enough to a finished Linux version (source: Steam Greenlight page [External Link].

Anyway, one of the developers said on IndieGameStand's forums that this game was scheduled for being featured there pretty soon. I guess we can wait and see if there's a Linux version by then.

Same problem here. It complains about not being able to find the Mono library on the something-something-Data/Mono directory, even though there's a mono.dll file there.

3 Linux games on the Be Mine Anniversary bundle
26 Feb 2013 at 9:27 pm UTC

Less than two days till this bundle ends, and for the sake of completeness I must announce the last unlocked game: The Adventures of Shaggy, a Windows-only platformer. I haven't contacted the developers, but since the game is built on XNA there seem to be little chance it gets ported to Linux (at least anytime soon).

AirBuccaneers Coming to Linux... Eventually

Quoting: berarmaSomeone said in another thread that it was put on hold.
I did. Based on their answer, I don't see it happening any time soon. :(

3 Linux games on the Be Mine Anniversary bundle

Quoting: muntdefemsWell, the Mistery Game was finally revealed last weekend and it's none other than AirBuccaneers. At the current rate of purchases it will be unlocked pretty soon.
Looks like I was totally wrong! AirBuccaneers has been unlocked today, but not on the $5 tier as the Mistery Game as I thought. Instead it's been unlocked on the $1 tier and the Mistery Game actually is The Cat Lady, available Windows-only at Desura [External Link].

As usual I've contacted the developers to inquire about a possible Linux port, but I've got no reply yet.

Help Yuri the Dog Make it to the Moon on Kickstarter

This is a game I'm really looking forward to play. I love the idea, the mechanics and the humour behind it, beginning with its very title (despite it giving rise to some confusion with certain manga/anime genre :P).
