Thanks! I'd swear the tags didn't appear on the preview screen, but I might need to pay a visit to my ophthalmologist...

Ooops! I shouldn't have put the [center] tags on the tagline... :O

Can some editor correct this, please?

Monsters! A new alpha funded game on Desura
6 Mar 2013 at 4:41 pm UTC

There's a preview available for download on the game's website [External Link]. I tried it the other day and I enjoyed it very much. Gameplay strongly reminded me of The Binding of Isaac but, contrary to that one, Monsters! runs smooooooothly on Linux.

Humble Bundle with Android 5!

Alright, I downloaded all the games except DD and I've tried them all a little. While there's no exceptional one outshining all the others, I quite enjoyed Dynamite Jack, Solar 2 and (particularly) NightSky. Let's see what other BTA surprises await us...

Humble Bundle with Android 5!

Right after announcing the bundle, they said this [External Link]:

Quoting: @humblesupportAlong with the bundle launch we have a Windows and Mac update for Dungeon Defenders. Linux version will be available shortly.
Let's just hope that it's shortlier than the Mac/Linux release of Vessel on HIB 6. :P

Enemy needs less than $3000 for Simultaneous platform release

You may want to change this title since it's less than $3,000 rather than $2,000, as you correctly state in the article's text. Alternatively, it's only a matter of time until the title becomes true. :D

Anyway I think it's quite feasible in 4 days, but still I'll wait till the stretch goal is reached, just to be sure I get value from my money.

Quoting: berarmaIt's 1,99€ for me.
I checked it again and you're right, it's 1.99€ for me as well! Am I starting to see things? Am I going slightly mad? [External Link] I'm pretty sure it was 2.99€ when I first checked it, so maybe it was an error they corrected shortly after... right? :S

New demo available for the innovative new runner and Next Game Boss finalist: Death Boulder Bones
2 Mar 2013 at 6:16 pm UTC

I tried it yesterday when adding DBB to the Crowdfunding Wiki. I must say it's quite fun and I also didn't experience any crash or bug. The only con I found was the slightly irritating voiceover. Not the voice per se, but its limited repertoire of expressions and its excessive usage.

Apart from that looks like it's gonna be a great game, and an interesting new take on the runner genre.

Steams February stats are out, Linux rises again to over 2%
1 Mar 2013 at 11:59 pm UTC

Quoting: JoeThat's 80% growth month over month. By this rate Linux will have easily passed Mac around the middle of the year.
Not really. Assuming the Mac share doesn't change significantly, with another 80% growth we would already pass them before the end of this month. :)

Not really, I've never played the original game plus there's enough platformers in my backlog...

PS: WTF!? It's 2.99€ for me. I thought Desura didn't have regional pricing and that they fairly converted the prices to all currencies (maybe just sometimes rounding it to the upper $/€/£)... ><
