I'm going to buy it the same day they release the port

For Mac they have been ported using Metal. It would be great if they used Vulkan for the Linux port. A good game to test and improve RADV.

Oh yes please. Port of this game and good bye windows

F1 2017 could be on the way to Linux, as Feral Interactive want to see demand for it

If Feral makes a port of this game, I will definitely be able to remove windows from my partitions. It's the only reason I keep a partition with windows (F1 2016 at this time).

Feral, port it, please.

Yes yes yes please. F1 2016 is my favorite game.

The port of 2015 was very bad (I bought it). It has very poor performance with my rx480 compared to windows performance. A port with vulkan would be my favorite linux game.

Please port it. I'm gonna buy it when it is released.

I completely regret buying this game 2 years ago when I had Nvidia hardware. They have not yet added Mesa compatibility and it seems that they have no intention of doing so

The default configuration will not allow you to move the camera with the right pad while any other button is being used, including movement with the stick. This is a big problem for a game like this to not be able to move the camera while doing anything, so I highly recommend changing it to “Mouse Joystick”.
See https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/mad-max-released-for-linux-port-report-and-review-available.8368

This is the main reason why I don't get into this game until now. “Mouse Joystick” isn't nice. As a work around I have additionally configured the the gyro as mouse. But this is also not an optimal solution.

Any ideas?
I had the same issue. I've fixed it using Steam Controller Configuration available on "Community Configurations" that works well.
