I can say that this game is absolutely wonderful. The developer is very active in their Discord and is open to suggestions. It's a lot of fun and already seems to have a very stable base. It absolutely needs fleshed out more, but I think the dev is very aware of this, which is why they've decided not to put it on Steam Early Access quite yet.

If you like base building/colony survival type games and want a nice SciFi spin, then this game is absolutely for you.

I have to say, Kickstarter backer, that this game is absolutely lovely. The pixel art is stunning at points, the music is outstanding, overall just a fantastic game in my opinion. I've been recommending it to everyone. If you're not into metroidvania games, I actually am not really, it might still be up your alley.

I also thoroughly enjoy the story as it's not like most games have become where there's a hero and a villain that are black and white and the villain does evil things because they're evil.

Linux desktop market share hit an all time high in July, according to one measure

I enjoy looking at other stats. W3C collects stats as well and it fluctuates pretty wildly, but in Feb of 2017 they show we hit 4.63%. https://www.w3counter.com/globalstats.php?year=2017&month=2 [External Link]

But in July they have us back down to 1.64%. So not very accurate apparently, but I find it exciting. :D

Some thoughts on switching from Ubuntu to Antergos for Linux gaming
18 Jan 2017 at 9:42 pm UTC

Having used a bunch of command line installers before I have too many of those in my head. I'm going with hands off the CLI for installing packages. Antergos allows you to install packages and update them through a great, imo, GUI. You can even have it search AUR, confirm all prompts, etc. I like it a lot. Especially considering I still need yum commands for my daily job and don't want to clutter up my brain with more package management commands.
