This is exactly how Cossacks is, they cut a few corners to allow massive numbers of troops in a battle. I played Cossacks: European Wars and the expansion a whole lot as a kid so I am really pumped for this! It looks to be very much in the same vein and the terrain looks really nice!

This makes me think of an interesting question to add to the survey: "How often do you use Steam's Big Picture Mode?" Always|Using SteamOS|Every day|Every week|Rarely|Never, though maybe add an option for "on the weekends only" or something.

I can't recall if there has been any questions about Big Picture Mode in the past.

Yeah this game is just what I needed. I bought it yesterday and immediately sunk the afternoon playing it. For me, a dual-screen setup actually makes the game crash. But I tend to turn off or mirror my second screen anyways so it wasn't a deal breaker for me. If I had to ask for one thing it would be gamepad controls so I could play on my couch.

This game barely works for me on a GTX 560 ti, so be wary if you have an aging rig. I really hope that they give this one some performance-love.
