I do not know is it me doing wrong but. I have played alot of HoN games back in the days. But for me I notice more toxic people in CS:GO then i have done in HoN. Dota 2 is no better with toxic poeple. I notice a Increase in HoN when I got to get free to play. All the people from LoL came and tested HoN then we hade people that could not play the game they diden't listen they complainde that I diden't get the blue buff(What that is I have no idé)
One thing I do not like with Dota 2 is that you can not concede. Like you could do in HoN. So if you get in a Game with a Toxic kid you don't need to sitt for 50min and hear the kid yelling that everyone is feed in the other team. While all yout team got like 3 death and the kid got 20 death. You know you will not win then is good to have that concede button

Quoting: NaibI started HoN Today and started to play and was on the way to buy wards and there was kongor and I was like wtf is this. True the dubble kongor is a bad thing. And when you can run on the side in the forest and come behind and kill one. Because you do not have wards to cover a litle pathway.Quoting: GuestDid anyone even play this anymore?Up until last month I still did.. I had about 2-5min queue times so it was alive enough to be commited.
I am really pissed at what Frostburn have done with this game. I had been playing it since Closed beta... Did tones on linux techsupport, was a global moderator, wrote and vetted in-game bots, helped with ogl stuff and SBT.
Then a month or so ago they released the two kongor update (which i hated in SBT) which completely changed the game for the worse as it was simply Kongor's of Newerth as well as BridgeWars (they messed with midwars soo much).
That said, the game was on its final last legs as Garena went into the US offices a couple of months ago and basically immediately terminated peoples contracts and a subset was given extensions of 3months (prob some golden parachute... ) to finalise aspects of the game.
The game is essentially dead in NAEU while in asia it is doing ok.
S2 fked with a good title and WZA sealed it with his bad balancing. It is/was an extremely toxic game but the plays were good. Sadly missed, especially due to all I put in but meh, bad management is bad
I am glad I jumped to DOTA when I did, it has vastly improved from when I first tried it (post launch) and it got me out of HoN before they pulled the rug.
But sad news that it going to the grave on Linux and Mac. I loved HoN back in the days when it was in Beta and up to it got Free to play.

One Thing I did like. That they talk about dedicated server. That is the best thing a dev can tell me that it's dedicated servers not the piece of shit best response time host that need to select a new host because the old host did leave!
The Frostbite engine apparently has partial Linux support but that doesn’t mean we’ll get ports anytime soon

Now I know what I gona ask my aunt for :). I need that linux client if it exist for Battlefield 1! See what I can do to get the hands on it! I don't care if it's some bugs! I can be a Beta tester for them! As long as I can play it on Linux I will know that the platform is on the right track!

So what I can understand from the article it doesn't matter if you run opengl or vulkan on low settings. So then is my question is it because opengl is heavy to run and on low settings it have enough hardware to handle the same fps. Or what is the reason for it.
