There's no gender pay gap? Queer folk are not mistreated anywhere for being queer? Racism has no real effect on anyone's life?

Comfortable bubble you've got there. Must be nice.
What are you talking about? No one has denied racism of not existing. If, say, women, like me, would get less pay for the same job: why would anyone ever hire a man for it? C'mon.

No need to judge me on "living in a bubble" either... No need to get offensive like at all. These things can be discussed without slurs. Right? Right.

Quoting: heidi.wengerand let me tell you mr. samsai: i as a woman would never accept any different or special treatment because of my gender. nevermind some colour of my body.
will you meekly accept lower wages or worse treatment by the police (for example) than someone else because of your gender or skin colour or some other physical trait?
right, and yet there is no evidence on this kind of systemic oppression based on physical trait or gender.

statistics show actualy that more caucasian people are shot by police an that may simply be because there are more caucasian in for example america. while a disproportionate number of black people are shot,, that MAY be because they encounter police more often.

theres no proof whether that is because one commit more crimes than other, or because of racial bias by police.

we simply do not know enough. it is cetainly not for people's own good as a whole to amass these kind of radical movements that would only divide us more and are not based on undeniable proof! my black friends say that they DO NOT want a "black history month" if there is no "yellow history month" and "white history month". i think this is exacly what mentioned morgan freeeman said too as i found that intreview. and that interviewer was jewish saying he dont want a "jewish history month" either lol.

Quoting: dziadulewiczHmm? Who's legal aid and bail are you talking about?
Presumably whoever the NAACP and the Community Bail Fund happened to give assistance to, considering those organizations were where the Racial Justice and Equality bundle funds went to. So, most likely to people that couldn't meet bail or afford legal defense otherwise.
I didn't know that concentrating on skin color advances the removal of racism. Very confusing, man. Or could you still elaborate to me on how this approach works?

Morgan Freeman once said when asked by a reporter on the issue of racism; "stop talking about it".
I too believe that when firefighters go put out the fires, they should spray water equally between all of the houses they pass, so as to not make anyone feel left out. Also, who's concentrating on skin colour? I simply said I was fine with Itch supporting some charities that provide help with legal stuff and bail. So it would seem that it is you that is bringing skin colour into this, my dude.

Julius Caesar once said when crossing the Rubicon: "The die has been cast".
see this is part of the problem of our times: to "misunderstand" on purpose. it is clear tht those movements have alot to do with body trait, as silly as it sounds, and it IS. this is a scam against all of us as humanity because we're lead to be so utterly body centric, even though our energetic (even beyond cell and atom level) "bodies" don't have even sex organs. see now what happens when even distantly mentioning politics?? even if just in the name of a bundle :dizzy: same goes with religion, theese things are only here to divide us.

and let me tell you mr. samsai: i as a woman would never accept any different or special treatment because of my gender. nevermind some colour of my body.

btw you're both just cute for manning and dudeing each other,, bare with me

Quoting: dziadulewiczI wish there wouldn't be these political bundles.. The recent events and doings of all sides have not been about positive energy.
Ain't that the truth! Most people now are just too afraid (of being labeled as something) and will not step up to the mainstream media narrative ....
Or maybe people in general are kinda just fine with a massive bundle that has a ton of good games for dirt cheap prices and the money goes towards legal aid and bail? I know, it's a pretty wild idea.
Riiight. Yet i think you do understand what i actually tried to state there. Because i know what you're saying. Of course it can be taken also just so. A dirt cheap bundle.

Try out Luxtorpeda, a Steam Play tool to run games in native game engines

Speaking of! Did you see that ScummVM is working on AGS support? Well, again -- it's not new, but it has renewed interest! It's not an official announcement either, but the news came via one of the dev blogs -- https://planet.scummvm.org/ [External Link].

I'm thrilled personally. They noted in their post the same problem I had w/ using (linux in my context) native AGS builds w/ various games though -- that custom AGS plugins can be problematic at times. I'm hoping with ScummVM being as notable as it is, that it drives compatible builds of said plugins and renews interest. The last line of the blog post is especially interesting, "One day in the near future, expect to play some of the classic AGS games like the AGDI Sierra remakes in ScummVM :)". Though, since those remakes don't use special plugins, they actually work fine with native linux AGS builds already -- but exciting nonetheless!
So this (AGS) means that one can play or example Technobabylon thru ScummVM?

Quoting: DrMcCoyBtw, in case anybody needs it, here's a Linux amd64 build of ags 3.5.0.27, including libraries: https://drmccoy.de/zeugs/ags-3.5.0.27-linux-amd64.tar.gz [External Link]

I build it using a Debian Stretch chroot, which should make it fairly usable on all recent Linux systems. The binary has rpath set, so that it'll find the libraries in the lib directory automatically. You still need to supply the X libraries, since distributing those doesn't necessarily work too well. They should all already be there, usually, except maybe libXxf86vm. Its Debian/Ubuntu package is libxxf86vm1, on Gentoo it's x11-libs/libXxf86vm.

This should be able to run basically all those Wadjet Eye games on Linux, even those that never got a proper Linux release, once you install them on Linux. At least I used to run all the games that were out a year? two years? ago with this. Or rather, with ags 3.4.1, which hopefully shouldn't make a difference.
So the Technobabylon works fine with Proton but i suppose this helps to reach even better performance if i got it right what Luxtorpeda / AGS is.
