I'm definitely buying this one, one of the few AAA Linux titles that I haven't already bought! :D and also a great deal

Quoting: liamdaweNot everyone is always in a good financial situation and if he found a deal why not buy it if he didn't intend to otherwise... Yes, it's really nice to support porting teams and companies but don't judge him if he rushed to buy it before Feral finished porting it :) There are a lot of us who will still support great guys from Feral!Quoting: ungutknutAnd it's people like you that help to reduce our already small sale count for developers. Nice one, not.Quoting: rustybroomhandleI don't care. Wouldn't have bought it anyway if it wasn't that cheap.Quoting: ungutknutNice! Bought it a few days ago when it was -75% on steam - speculating that it'll be released on linux.Except, now it counts as a Windows sale, and Feral get none of the money for it.

WHAT? :D OMFG Feral... I have no words for these guys, they are also getting better with port quality... every new port has more comparable performance to Windows versions! I'm buying both of the new games that are coming out by them, when everyone is in doubt that linux is a viable gaming platform Feral keeps proving them wrong...

Together we can turn them to the dark side :P
I am promoting linux as much as I can at my place because big companies and stores don't cause they have no profit by doing so... so it really depends on us users :)
Keep them coming! :D

Quoting: MohandevirIn fact, this week I converted 2 hardcore Win10 gamers to Linux because they're fed up with Win10 breaking everything at every updates. The anniversary upgrade was a disaster for both of them. I dare hope that these are not isolated occurances. :)Great job! :D
Edit: Typo.

Quoting: nishazzarI got the survey two times within the last two months. Once on my laptop and once on my desktop. I think these were the first two surveys i ever got on Linux (i'm on the TUX side of the Force for about 3 years).Valve releasing an awesome Linux exclusive would mean only 1 thing... thousands of gamers rushing to install Linux to play a game HL3 for example :D Such thing needs to be done so Windows users would lose their tight grip to 1 OS. But back to reality Valve would never do such thing because they are really the one company that cares about PC gaming and their users opposite to majority of game development companies out there.
Now back to randomly changing HW and rebooting and hoping for my third survey... why? 3 surveys on linux = HL3 confirmed :P

Quoting: mintehI got the Mrs to move to Xubuntu from Windows 8 so there's plus 1 :DI moved my whole house to Linux, only mom insists that everything works on Win8 for her because all she needs is Chrome and few other Web sites :D She does like the look of Gnome 3 on my laptop so she will switch eventually as well :D Also installed mint to some neighbours around and so far no complaints :D I hope that they will spread the good word if they like the experience.

I've got the survey for the first time last month as well... and on the long-run I don't see windows 10 not being adopted in advance due to the Microsoft's huge investments in it's promotion, however what is important is that Linux community is slowly and steadily growing and that 48% of marketshare who still use Windows 7 did not choose to upgrade to Windows 10 which could mean a great increase of Linux marketshare (Mac a bit unlikely due to the overpriced nature of their products) by the years of 2020 (when official support for Windows 7 ends)... I mean if they did not upgrade for free why would they pay to upgrade later? I think that the fact that win7 is still mostly used version of windows indicates that Windows 10 will have hard time bringing their users to upgrade unless they change something, however it's unlikely I believe because it's just what Microsoft has become in last years.
On the other hand what we really should celebrate is our freedom and number of ports and also new releases brought to us by Feral and similar awesome companies! :D

Wow this looks great :D So on my 970 I will be getting better min fps on highest settings than Windows and as Windows users usually bash over us "the game is unplayable if the min fps drops bellow 20", this is something they should consider with ports like that :D Great job Feral and keep up the awesome work!

Quoting: skinnyrafA few months ago I looked at my gaming backlog, I looked at good games available for Linux/SteamOS and came up with a genius plan to solve my backlog issue: don't buy any new Windows only games, complete what I have in the library and then become Linux only.Did you try to set them through Wine? Majority of LEGO titles work very well with WINE but I hate that I cannot manage to get my controller working on playonlinux which drives me mad since I'd really love to play lego titles from the couch through controller.
How naive I was. There are so many great games for Linux, my wishlist has 57 games for SteamOS and the backlog is growing again.
Disclaimer: yes, old Assassin's Creed games on my wishlist are Windows only, as are Train Simulator add-ons. And yes, I bought Lego Batman and Lego LotR for my kids recently (Feral, pleeeease, port Lego games to Linux, please?).
