Valve has removed the Steam Machine section from Steam

I think the best thing they did was make the SteamOS and the controller. I'm no longer a Steam user but the SteamOS was great for my time using it on my HTPCs. The controllers were awesome. I loved using it but in the end I sold them to those who were really into Steam because majority of my game diet is fighting games and I use my Logitech F370s and Hori Mini-Fighting Sticks 90% of the time.

Converting PC Gamers into Console-Like gamers is not a great move. But giving them the tools to game as they please will be more beneficial and easier to roll out.

A part me is hoping that Atari taps into Pico8 and make it the default 'game'/'editor' to really bring that retro feel to it and also tap into creators.

Ion Maiden, a new 3D Realms FPS has launched in Early Access with Linux support

I am enjoying the game. I wish that the game had a Linux icon in the My Games section so that it would be less confusing for people interested. Seeing the Windows icon made me stay away from it until everyone chipped in with the support on this thread.

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoDo you have libSDL2_mixer-2.0 installed? You need it If you want to run the native linux IonMaiden_Linux.bin
That all that I was missing. Thanks. Usually, I would get the terminal to report to me what is missing for the game to work but it did not report anything at all just ran and nothing opened. Installing what you stated worked like a charm!

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoThe Windows installer includes the Linux version called IonMaiden_Linux.bin
I extracted the files and I also installed them via WINE. I read through the text file but the .bin file is not working in any way.

Is there an install method in these readme files?

Quoting: GuestThat would make an awesome poster ^^
I have a DOOM and UT99 poster in my room. If I can get the Linux build of this official and the game is great, I may add this one as a 3rd poster to the wall.

When you buy from the 3D Realms store (not Steam) that's the current DRM Free version (3DR told me they updated the package you can download, but let me know if that is not the case for some reason or it is configured incorrectly).
I can only download the Windows version.
