The AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT GPU has been announced and new Ryzen CPUs coming

Quoting: Janne6GB is plenty enough for gaming.
No, it's not. I have GTX 1060, and its VRAM is exceeded by some games at max settings (RE2, Shadow of the TR). And that's at FHD resolution, I don't even mention QHD or 4k. VRAM capasity becomes a bottleneck, and you'll have to lower graphics settings to cope with it. But what's the point in buying a new expensive card if you can't play at max graphics settings?

AMD used to release cards with more VRAM than Nvidia, but now they don't, and I'm kinda disappointed. I'd wait for a card with, like, 12 GB or more.

Quoting: CyrilSo you have a compiled Windows version? As some years ago the dev removed the files due to legal issues.
He did, but I had downloaded it before and still keep it [External Link].

Quoting: FaalhaasIf you ever made a NRG file (proprietary format) of the original CD for some reason :), you can mount it in Daemon Tools (Windows) to access the audio files. Not sure how to do that in Linux though...
With cdemu and its GUI gcdemu.

But Powerslave EX works fine in Wine. All I had to do to run it was installing 32-bit openal.

Quoting: FaalhaasFunny. I actually tried to run the old Powerslave EX [External Link] last year, but failed. :(
Thank you for this new PCExhumed [External Link] solution. :)
Powerslave EX is a reconstruction of a PS1 version. Powerslave PS1, DOS and Saturn are three different games with different levels, weapon and item system, and even engines. I wish PCExhumed got support for all three of them.

I mean, "find a Remote Play game if you want to finish today's quest", not "suggest a game to me". My friend used DAMNOSAUR [External Link], a small (230 MB) free game.

Another day, another broken quest… It cannot be completed with any multiplayer game, only with Remote Play. Find a local coop game.

I could watch streaming with Chromium. It was harder than it should be though:
1. Close your Steam client;
2. Log in to your Steam account in a web browser;
3. Open a chat window there with your friend who is broadcasting (if you have missed step 1, it will be opened in a Steam client);
4. Join a broadcast here.

I still couldn't see any video, but it was not necessary to get that quest completed.

These quests are too social. Why doesn't Gaben think about introverts like myself? I should probably create a second Steam account…

Does anyone complete holiday quests? I cannot do today's one (to watch a friend's broadcast). I get this: "Your web browser does not support the minimum set of features required to watch this broadcast." Is this a Steam for Linux problem?

Quoting: Comandante Ñoñardo42GB!!!???
At least it will have been downloaded eventually. I've been trying to download Detroid via Epic Game Launcher (53 GB) for last three days. I had to pause downloading sometimes or even close the launcher because it's so shitty so it hurts performance of my CPU (it did that on my old AMD FX, but now I've got Ryzen 7, and EGS still gets it busy more than any videogame). When it was almost over and only a couple of gigs left or even less that that, EGS started glitching again, so I relaunched it. And what do I see now? That crap has erased everything and started all over again! The worst software I've ever seen. Damn you Sweeney.
