It's perfectly safe and you only need to run it when you install new ue3 games, so it works for every game you have already installed (spec ops, borderlands and so on).
Hope it helps!

Quoting: LeflFinally!Spec ops and most unreal engine 3 games on Linux do not read the correct amount of VRAM causing bad performance, this script fix it by modifying config files: https://github.com/Kryuko/ue3_linux_opti [External Link]
I hope it fixes issues with XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Spec Ops the Line too, as both games had GPU lockups too

I grabbed Dirt 3 for free, looks like is working well on wine and the 360 pad should work too.
I'm just wondering how can they give for free such piece of game? I would really like to know! :D

Hey, they weren't that bad. I had quite some fun playing BInfinite, SpecOps: The Line and Saints Row.
Looking forward for Bioshock and Spec ops too.

I have a question: for some games that do not works well with my xbox 360 controller i use Antimicro to assign keyboard buttons to my xbox 360 controls, so with this update i (we) could configure the same thing on Steam without launching a 3rd party software? And, like the Steam controller, every game has it's own saved settings and you won't need to switch presets manually?
That would be so amazing...
