Quoting: MightyTrollzorseems to run again after another 1.9 gig patch (at least the safehouse does). I also found a mod that enables coop with windows users even with the downgraded linux version (just search in the linux subforum of the payday2 discussions on steam)
Someone on the steam forum [External Link] says that days 1-4 are working, i really hope they does :D

Edit: And yeah, it works :D

Quoting: M@GOidThe gamepad support is bugged for me. Tested with Xbox 360, One, Steam Controller and Logitech F710, all with the same problem of misconfigured axes and buttons.

The game don't allow you to do alter the gamepad settings, and the config files do not show a gamepad section to modify.

It's a old bug, I got it before this big upgrade, witch is a shame because now the game looks very good and much more polished than it was before.
Same here, but you can workaround it by configuring the controller through Steam! You start the race with the kb and play with the controller without issue, hope that helps ;)

Quoting: K3rcusJust curious, what do you think guys about Spec Ops: The Line?
I think it's a very good linear adventure. Looks real good, exciting set pieces. But of course, very very linear. It's one story that keeps rolling, no room for digressions :-)
I really recommend Spec Ops, both the gameplay and the story are unique. It's definitely one-of-a-kind!

Quoting: anthCan anyone confirm if the DLC works on Linux? The page on Humble says it does and much of it is just masks which should be fine, but on Steam the DLC from May 2016 on shows the SteamOS logo while those for up until February 2016 only show Windows. That roughly lines up with both the Linux release and the developer taking over publishing too, with the change of publisher reflected on Steam for those DLCs too, so I'm hoping it means that everything works but the original publisher didn't bother ticking the required boxes when Linux was added.
Yes, i got every weapons and some new characters, played the heists as a guest and there's no issues at all!

Looks like FPS game 'Squad' might be coming to Linux soon

Added XBox 360, Xbox One, and Generic X-Input controller configurator support. This allows all recognized controller types to use the advanced mapping features of the Steam Controller Configurator.
Does that mean we can use Steam to assign keyboard buttons to the 360 controller like antimicro do?
For example on games that do not support controllers...
