I really hope it mostly just adds to the original and won't reinvent the wheel or change too much. I have played this game so much and now I need to play it again just by seeing this. It's one of those games that feels very original and does it's own thing even though it's a RTS/management type game.
And Kalypso: I want a new Crookz (The Big Heist) while we're at it too with a lot of maps.

Quoting: heidi.wengerI heard there's now some kinda transgender issue with this game? Anyone knows more of this?I highly doubt the game is the issue but I guess it's an "issue" from Discord:

Oh, I needed that launch option.
The game is strangely addictive so I hope they'll add lots of stuff to it.

Fullscreen, Windowed, whatever.
Yeah, you get the idea... anything that has achievements makes Steam show the pop up in-game on my PCs.

Quoting: EikeLOST ORBIT: Terminal VelocityQuoting: TiedemannI think you should be making examples. :)Quoting: GuestYou got an example of a game I can try it on cause I never have the overlay enabled.Quoting: TiedemannYeah but it is a separate thing. No, it's not, i've disabled the steam overlay a lot of times just for hiding achievement popups, you still get them but you won't see it.
If you don't get them and I do I'm certainly going to make a ticket on it.
AFAIK, no game can show the Steam notifications with Steam overlay disabled.

Quoting: GuestI hope this will fix my issues I have currently with Games running through Proton which causes the whole steam client to freeze and finally crash and also the game if it makes use of the Steam API. Dose anyone else have this issue or is it just me o.o? On native games everything is just fine. Not had the issue but have you launched steam from terminal and looked at the output there?

Quoting: x_wingYeah but it is a separate thing.Quoting: TiedemannDid you try disabling steam overlay?Quoting: EikeI don't want any of it. It's distracting, looks out of place, sometimes cover UI elements, sometimes makes the game have a hickup on some machines etc.Quoting: TiedemannSo you want some and hide others?Quoting: EikeI'm talking about achievements and inventory popups, not friends stuff.Quoting: TiedemannI'm still waiting for the day I can turn off those damn notifications though, both in-game and when starting the client.But... you can!?
All the games I've played have had progress, unlocks and all other stuff in-game. And for me that is where it should be.
I know I'm old, grumpy and weird but that's just how it is :P
