Finns dont do much cool, but when they do, its REALLY cool. Perkelle Poikka!
I am really curious about gameplay. graphics already have me.
I hope there is some good crafting there.

I am not sure if it matters any more.
There are practically no Linux games out there.
A lot of franchises that had linux(bad ones at that) ports - became windows only with proton.
I suppose it only matters for proton, there is more initiative to make proton better as result.

Valve put up a new Steam Linux Runtime 4.0 with a move towards 64-bit

And most games do exactly that. They ship their 32bit modules.(not all 32bit libraries, mind you, but still!)
In fact its even better, as different OS will have different 32bit libaries. So it makes Steam libs universal for all games.

Quoting: Liam DaweI doubt they could entirely change the runtime base like that, with so much depending on it, without breaking a lot.If they ship their runtime with necessary 32bit libraries - I don't see why not. You can have perfectly fine 64 bit system with 32bit support in kernel and 3rd party 32 bit libraries when needed only.

I wonder if this means I can drop 32bit compatibility completely in my Gentoo now.
Only Steam is holding me back.

@chickenb00 This is exactly my point.
AMD is trying to pull blanket on their own technology, same way as Nvidia does with DLSS.
Both try to put people on a needle of proprietary technology. Whenever users OR developers.

I have working HMD on Linux gentoo. HP reverb G2. Just HMD, no controllers.
It does work well enough for me to play a couple of virtual reality from coach games. I had it working for about half year or more. Its not even Valve affiliated.
"Also keep in mind that Steam Flatpak is not a supported configuration for it, you'll need a proper Steam package installed." - you can also install steam from tar gz file, binary way.

at this stage no one cares, because FSR4 is AMD only and ONLY for new AMD chips technology.
