Was probably in beta because it wasn't listed among the Linux games, now it is official :)

Shadowrun Returns updates on drm and linux
14 Apr 2013 at 9:00 am UTC

Shadowrun Return on Linux was promised for a later release since the beginning (update #4) so the Linux quote doesn't really change anything, moreover also the other versions are late since the game was supposed to be released in January, that is good news since it probably means a richer more polished game.

Now if you’re a Linux-only user, you’ll have to wait for your version, but from what you’ve told us, you’re willing to do that.
@Orkultus: I don't like to say it but although Linux community is very active, Linux is still the smallest market compared to Win & Mac...

Consortium: an original Sci-Fi RPG, partly crowdfunding

Got a clarification from the developers:
Quote:
"YES, you will get a steam key for the game when it's released on another platform (whichever one you want). And at that time, it would indeed mean that you would probably get the PC version as well.
The key difference here is timing. Windows gamers will be playing a finished game this Summer, while gamers for other platforms will have to wait...."

keeping the sales on each platform independent doesn't make sense if they plan to launch on Steam...

Steams March user survey is out, Linux goes down!
30 Mar 2013 at 10:08 am UTC

it would be interesting to know how users are selected for the survey, googling for that appears that steam survey has been criticized more than once for not being reliable, but it's a survey after all, so I guess we'll have to expect some jumping around. Said that a decrease was expected, on February SoL was on the headlines, but with only 9 indie titles released in March it just disappeared from the radar. However it must have raised the awareness considerably, I'd like to have a survey on how many people tried/installed/kept linux after the SoL release and how many will eventually move to linux after more big titles. From SoL forum there are quite a few people ready to drop windows if their (few) favorite games are ported.
