lol, almost, I'm a Linux fanboy in ethernal conflict when talking about GPUs: Intel good FOSS drivers but behind Windows drivers, AMD usable FOSS drivers and acceptable proprietary drivers, Nvidia great proprietary drivers but no decent FOSS drivers...

Not quite sure what you mean about not having pictures... I spent quite a bit of time getting the ten screenshots for the review.

I mean pictures between the text instead of at the top of the article so I can read and look at the pictures at the same time... just a wish, not a complaint :)

I'm trying to recognize the icons on the video, the second from the bottom seems Code::Blocks, anyone recognize the V (second from top) and A (last) icons?

Moreover there is the Oracle v. Google appeal ruling still in the air (maybe this summer?). I'm not competent in legislation but if API will be considered covered by copyright law (most likely reading about the appeal) and a different implementation isn't fair use (this is the answer I'm nervous about), anyone using WINE could be easily targeted by Microsoft, and Valve, as a Microsoft competitor, would have an hard time defending.

About Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet, it's a 2D graphical adventure but character are modeled and rendered in 3D, the developer uses Blender. Updates [External Link] are actually very interesting and explain the graphical design of the game.

Interesting message of the developers from their forum:

[...] After our own port of X3:Reunion to Linux is now in Beta for a few months, starting today everybody who owns the game on Steam, can now help test X3:Terran Conflict on Linux. Please spread the news. 

Before I get complaints about not speaking about X Rebirth again: Yes we are working hard on finishing X Rebirth (now for 6 years in development). We just released a couple of "Making of" videos on our youtube channel, and the people working on the new X3 updates are a separate team. So do not worry, X Rebirth is progressing full "steam" ahead, we are just giving you some nice things to do in the meantime
